JOB SUMMARY

Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties associated with daily clinic preparation process, patient identification, patient check in/out, charge posting, cash management and patient appointment scheduling. Position also involves customer service, message distribution, ancillary scheduling and preparation and referrals management.).

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates patient registration, scheduling, and visit preparation by reviewing records, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting payments, obtaining required documentation, and supporting check-in and check-out processes.


• Maintains accurate patient records, schedules tests and procedures, manages encounter and billing documentation, answers phones, and communicates patient information and messages in a timely manner according to practice standards.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent with basic grammar and math skills.

Experience: One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication, customer service, data entry, and organizational skills; knowledge of medical terminology; and the ability to apply policies related to patient registration, payment collection, record maintenance, and confidentiality.
