Job Title: Patient Services Representative (Patient Registration)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient registration processes, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing exceptional service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and insurance information.

- Enter patient data accurately into the electronic health record (EHR) system.

-- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

- Respond to patient inquiries regarding registration, insurance, and clinic services.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.

- Check patients out and schedule follow-up appointments 

- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.

 Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting 

- Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
