PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE- Call Center

Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are committed to caring for our patients with purpose and integrity and providing our team members with the support they need.
We are looking for a Patient Services Representative (PSR)- Call Center. These services would be needed on-site at our Minnie Jones Health Center, which is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm.
The PSR- Call Center provides phone coverage during business hours. They assist patients with call routing, registration, eligibility verification, and general inquiries. They communicate with people of various diverse backgrounds, ensuring all patients are treated in a sensitive and compassionate way.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA), preferred.
- At least one year in a customer-facing role in any service-related industry.
- Sliding fee scale experience required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired.

Hourly range based on experience, education, and/or certification: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
