Seeking a Compassionate Patient Service Technician- Local Driver in Menominee, MI

Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate Patient Service Technician for patients who rely on respiratory
and durable medical equipment at home. In this role, you’ll deliver and set up essential medical
equipment for individuals in your local community, offering hands‑on support,
reassurance, and education that empowers patients to feel safer, more
comfortable, and more independent. Every mile you drive and every home you visit directly
contributes to better health outcomes and meaningful moments of care.


Work Schedule: 8am-5pm
On-Call Duties: biweekly


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Drive
    local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment with care, respect,
    and a patient‑first mindset.
  • Provide
    empathetic, hands‑on education to patients and caregivers, helping them
    feel confident and supported in using respiratory and home medical
    equipment.
  • Maintain
    and troubleshoot equipment with patience and clarity, ensuring proper
    function and protecting patient safety.
  • Respond
    to urgent equipment needs and participate in on‑call rotations, offering
    calm, compassionate assistance during after‑hours situations.
  • Complete
    delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time to
    support continuity of care.
  • Keep
    your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service to ensure
    reliable patient support.
  • Ensure
    compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company
    standards.
  • Perform
    other duties as assigned to support patient comfort, independence, and
    overall care experience.


Requirements

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Candidates
    may qualify through a combination of education, training, and relevant
    work experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities
    necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Any
    education requirements mandated by applicable federal, state, or local
    law, regulation, licensing requirement, or customer contract.

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • High
    school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
  • Experience
    with medical equipment, preferred
  • One
    year of related work experience, preferred
  • Medical
    terminology, preferred

 

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a
background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing
requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean
driving record when applicable to the position.
