Patient Services Case Administrator

Job Description
  • Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Patient Services Case Administrator (PSCA) to join our esteemed team. As a CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified laboratory based in San Diego, we specialize in providing molecular diagnostic tests that contribute to the comprehensive treatment of cancer patients.
  • The role of a Patient Services Case Administrator involves effectively communicating our billing procedures with patients, as well as discussing various financial options related to testing, including financial assistance and prompt-pay discount alternatives.
  • Operating within a call center environment and without direct face-to-face patient interaction, PSCAs play a crucial role in addressing patient billing concerns and efficiently directing inquiries, both before and after the completion of testing.
  • Additionally, PSCAs handle day-to-day requests from various departments, including Sales, Client Services, Lab, and Billing.

  • Successfully finishes assigned department/corporate training sessions promptly and demonstrates the capacity to recall information effectively.
  • Communication –
  • Capable of conveying and receiving information in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Can utilize cognitive empathy when speaking with patients, offices, and other departments.
  • Must capture comprehensive notes and call summaries, ensuring that any agent can seamlessly take over and assist the patient.

Note:
  • This role is 100% onsite and start times are between 6:00 am – 7:30 am.
