Heartview Foundation is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for individuals seeking recovery. We’re looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join our Dickinson team and ensure the smooth operation of our facility’s administrative functions.
Job Summary
As the Patient Services Coordinator, you will assist patients with their service needs at the Dickinson facility, including reception, service inquiries, medical records, patient admissions, obtaining patient insurance coverage, and other office tasks as needed. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our patient administrative functions run efficiently and support both our staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, assisting with inquiries and scheduling.
Maintain patient medical records in the electronic health record system, ensuring accurate and secure documentation.
Assist with front desk responsibilities for checking in and directing patients to services.
Help patients with case management needs and coordinate services with outside entities.
Assist patients with obtaining insurance coverage for services as needed.
Support the technical and administrative needs of staff when requested.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of secretarial or administrative experience preferred; preference will be given to those in previous mental health and healthcare positions.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Office 365 and electronic health records (EHR).
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ethical standards and confidentiality compliance.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
