**Summary**

We are looking for someone that wants to be a part of the Cardiac Procedures Unit the Frankel Cardiovascular Center as a clerical float.

As a float, you would assist with covering staff in a range of areas within the CPU covering for lunch breaks and scheduled vacations, including an occasional night shift for scheduled vacations.

This is a full time position. The standard work schedule is: Mon, Weds, Thurs & Friday 6a-4:30p, Tuesdays off.

**Responsibilities***

Duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:

+ Scheduling inpatients for procedures in Michart/Optime

+ Supporting nursing staff and Physicians

+ Paging staff

+ Preparing patient charts

+ Providing a daily lunch count for patients

+ Order medical equipment for patients and nursing staff

+ Arranging patient transportation through MiChart

+ Answering phones and triaging calls

+ Check patients in for procedures

+ Arrange follow-up appointments

+ Cover vacations by working other shifts and areas

**Required Qualifications***

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ 3-4 years of experience

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Excellent attendance record

+ Able to work a flexible schedule

+ Able to multitask in a fast pace environment

**Desired Qualifications***

+ MiChart access

+ Previous clerical experience

**Work Schedule**

The standard work schedule is: Mon, Weds, Thurs & Friday 6a-4:30p, Tuesdays off.

**Union Affiliation**

**Background Screening**
