Precision Healthcare Specialists is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across multiple specialties. Our Magnolia Breast Center provides advanced screening, diagnostic, and treatment services in a supportive environment designed for women’s health. We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

Position Summary:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for creating a positive patient experience by greeting patients, managing the check-in and check-out process, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient service.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional, compassionate, and courteous manner.
     
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all necessary forms and consents are completed.
     
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
     
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and collect co-payments as needed.
     
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
     
  • Answer and route incoming calls, providing general information as appropriate.
     
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
     
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
     
  • Assist with additional front-office duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or medical office training preferred.
     
  • Previous experience in a medical office, patient services, or customer service role required.
     
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
     
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
     
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
     
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
     
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
