Patient Sitter - Float Pool

Patient Sitter at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. Positions available are Part - Time and Per Diem and may include Day and Night shifts. You will work 12-hour shifts in this role. Schedule options can be discussed during interview.

Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients.  Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic milieu and the efficiency of the nursing team. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, unless the patient needs are such that adverse health consequences are predictable. Supports System and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Training in Nurses Aid course or Health Care Assistant.
• 1 year Health Care experience.
