Patriot Truss & Components-Diesel Mechanic

Patriot Truss & Components is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles, equipment, or machinery


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues accurately and efficiently


• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot problems


• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment


• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with company and industry regulations


• Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe


• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and costs with supervisors


• Stay current with new technology, tools, and repair methods

Requirements

• The minimum work week to consist of Monday-Friday
  
  
  
  • Normal hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  
  
  • Additional hours may be required at times to meet deadlines
  
  
  
  


• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role


• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing forklifts is


• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical and electrical components


• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs independently
