Ready to shape stories with stitches? Hale Centre Theatre is on the hunt for a master of fabric alchemy—a Patterner/Draper with the talent, tenacity, and taste to help bring our costumes to life! 

 What You'll Do:

• Transform imagination into form by draping and drafting stunning patterns from designer sketches.
   
• Collaborate like a pro with designers, assistants, supervisors, and stitchers to ensure every costume is worthy of a standing ovation.
   
• Craft with care—from fittings to final trims, your eye for detail ensures a flawless fit and fabulous finish.
   
• Lead and teach First Hands/Assistant Tailors in sewing techniques and costume magic.
   
• Solve puzzles daily, whether calculating fabric yardage or adjusting a curve just right.
   
• Stay current, bringing fresh techniques and creative insights from the world of fashion and theatre into our shop.
   
• Keep us organized, storing patterns like the hero you are for future encore performances.
   

 You Might Be Our Star If You:

• Have professional experience as a Patterner/Draper in theatre, film, or fashion.
   
• Are fluent in the languages of draping, drafting, stitching, and fitting.
   
• Can confidently communicate, lead, and troubleshoot in a fast-paced, collaborative shop.
   
• Live for tight turnarounds and creative solutions—and never miss a deadline.
   
• Are passionate about theatre and the role costume plays in telling a story.
