Payments & Check Disbursement Coordinator

Telenet is a leading telecommunications company based in California City, CA. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payments & Check Disbursement Coordinator on a part-time basis.

As the Payments & Check Disbursement Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the company's payment processing and check disbursement activities. This includes ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining payment records. You will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships and resolving any payment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process payments from customers and vendors in a timely and accurate manner

- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies

- Maintain accurate payment records and ensure data integrity

- Manage vendor relationships and communicate payment information as needed

- Work with internal teams to resolve any payment-related issues

- Prepare and distribute checks for disbursement

- Monitor and review payment processes to identify areas for improvement

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in payment processing and disbursement

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in payment processing or accounts payable

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
