Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs payroll processing of time records and personnel action notices. Also maintains the Time & Labor email box and time related compliance reporting. Responsible for the information retained in the electronic time keeping software to insure HR, project management and payroll compliancy. This position requires the ability to prioritize and process complex payrolls in a multi-state and multi-company environment. Perform testing on system improvements, system upgrades, and initiatives for both the time and payroll system. Complete tasks on special projects based on predefined project timelines. Review processes and procedures to determine efficiencies that can be gained in both the time and payroll systems. Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues. Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Processes labor imports from multiple systems into CostPoint payroll. Performs audit of system output reports for efficiency.

Export timesheets from T&E or processor files to CostPoint for payroll processing. Maintain weekly checklist of all timesheet cycle exports.

Maintain weekly log of labor that has been exported from T&E including an upload error reports and resolution.

Weekly provide sites, HR and/or project personnel an updated report on potential or unresolved compliancy issues related to timesheet entry.

Provide a report that identifies timesheets that have been accepted/approved by the payroll admin id for processing and require appropriate manager/supervisor approval.

Research and respond to service tickets in the time and labor category as well as service tickets for specific payroll sites.

Responsible for processing all timesheet related compliancy and audit reports. Reporting and audit information for: DCAA, internal audits, DOL, Davis Bacon, Certified payroll and any other reporting requirements as necessary.

Assist in resolving electronic timekeeping issues, processing historical edits and working with project management and/or billing regarding errors and/or discrepancies.

Works with Payroll Management and IT to develop and test system changes for efficient payroll processing.

Thoroughly test system updates as needed.

Work with Payroll Management on compliance projects for testing and development.

Responsible for processing all timesheet related compliancy and audit reports. Reporting and audit information for: DCAA, internal audits, DOL, Davis Bacon, Certified payroll and any other reporting requirements.

Assist with Year End system set-up.

Implement change management processes regarding timekeeping.

Must be capable of working independently and have the ability to problem solve.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have payroll or accounting experience required.

Experience FPC and/or CPP will be given significant preference.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Extensive computer skills with the ability to set priorities to assure deadlines are met. Excellent verbal, written, organization and planning skills.

Professional, courteous, proactive disposition.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.

Experience with time collection and payroll systems support.

Desired Qualifications:

2 year degree preferred.

Deltek T&E/Costpoint preferred.
