Payroll and Accounts Receivable Accountant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
· Processing weekly payroll.
· Monitoring and handling time off requests.
· Management of files.
· Generation of payroll reports upon request.
· Maintaining precise records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions.
· Conducting routine audits to ensure data accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
· Make general ledger entries to cash receipts journal and sales journal as required.
· Fulfilling any other duties or responsibilities essential to the daily operations of the employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· Proven experience with payroll and accounts receivable.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
· Principles and procedures of record keeping.
· Preference to be fluent in both English and Spanish.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma or GED
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
· Experience with data entry and general ledger reconciliation
WORK HOURS: Full time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Overtime and weekends as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Must be able to move and or lift parts up to 25 pounds
· Must pass physical and drug test
