We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team at Hoover Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. This position is essential in managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate compensation for our dedicated service technicians. Located in Troy Michigan, this role contributes significantly to our operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Perform data entry tasks related to payroll and employee information.
• Assist with accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Utilize financial software such as Servicetitan and Paychex for payroll management.
• Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the HR department to manage employee benefits and deductions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Paychex, ADP, Paylocity or similar systems is a must.
• Ability to analyze data effectively and provide insights when necessary.
