Payroll & Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely approval of timecards and accurate payroll processing.
- Run, review, and audit payroll batches to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records including new hires, changes, and terminations.
- Process bonuses, commissions, expense reimbursements, and manual payroll adjustments.
- Administer wage garnishments and required documentation.
- Prepare payroll filings, W-2s, and compliance reporting.
- Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping system issues.
- Support onboarding and HRIS setup for new employees.
- Serve as a trusted payroll and HR resource for employees and leaders.
- Assist with benefits administration and leave-related payroll.
- Prepare payroll and HR reports to support leadership decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in UKG, preferably UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management (Dimensions).
- Payroll experience supporting a large population of hourly employees.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and customer service orientation.
