Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team at Dutro Ford Lincoln Nissan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, and assisting with various payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll in a timely and accurate manner


• Maintain and update payroll records and documentation


• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations


• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies


• Assist with payroll audits and month-end reporting


• Collaborate with the Office Manager to ensure accurate employee data


• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll/accounting is a plus


• Previous experience in payroll processing or related administrative role preferred


• Strong numerical and organizational skills


• Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds and MS Office applications


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion


• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
