Responsibilities:
- Prepare, import, process, and meticulously review payroll data
- Create direct deposit files and ensure timely distribution of paychecks
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports with high attention to accuracy
- Deliver exceptional customer service to effectively support daily operations
- Collaborate closely with the Payroll team and other departments to achieve seamless coordination
- We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to uphold the highest standards of payroll management
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in payroll software and related computer applications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) – Strong Excel skills are highly desirable
- Advanced math skills and solid analytical abilities for precise financial calculations
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all disciplines and levels
- Effective people management abilities
- Experience with high volume, multi-state payroll processing is preferred
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements is advantageous
- Proven initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Reliability and dedication to see payrolls through to completion
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is an additional asset
