Summary:
The Payroll-HR Clerk provides administrative support to the HR & Executive teams. This position aids with payroll processing and various HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, record keeping, and file maintenance.
Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll Duties:
- Provides administrative support of payroll processing, by preparing and processing payroll
- Collates and verifies data and inputs into the payroll system
- Updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records
- Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle
- Responds to pay-related inquiries from staff
HR Duties:
- Manages the new hire and onboarding process for all new hires (including acquired employees), which includes presenting HR Onboarding presentation and Benefits presentation
- Prepares new employee onboarding
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Provides administrative support for the annual Performance Review process
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Assists with processing of terminations in the company HRIS
- Assists with recruitment and interview process as needed, which may include submitting online background requests during the recruiting process, track status of candidates in HRIS, and respond with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process, as needed
- Provides administrative support when needed to the executive staff
- Provides administrative support for the Clinical Compliance program across all locations
- Assists with the management of annual online compliance training program
- Responsible for upkeep of employee file maintenance in both electronic and hard copy formats, and organization of physical compliance materials (posters, signage, etc)
- Manage corporate office supply purchasing
- Manage employee building access credentials, parking permits and office space work orders for corporate location, which includes working with building management
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
- Files documents into appropriate employee files
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
- Adheres to the attendance policy
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or human resources, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 3 years' experience working with payroll required, with payroll software; Paycor a plus
- 2 years' experience working in Human Resources preferred
- Previous experience working with an HRIS required, Paycor a plus
