Job Description:
Job Summary
Ensures the timely administration of payroll and personnel file maintenance. Supports the communication and administration of benefits programs. Monitor and allocate work to the HR Assistants, and assist with problem solving. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws along with ensuring compliance with the bargaining unit. Review and analyze workload issues, discrepancies, exceptions, etc. Provide training guidance, and on-going support to HR Assistants and DC Associates. Ensures that sensitive information stays confidential, and that best practices and record retention policies are being adhered to.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, and/or Bachelors Degree
Minimum job skills required to perform this job.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and complex problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, self motivated and able to work independently and in a team setting. Knowledge of Outlook, Teams, MS Excel, MS Word, payroll systems (ex:Kronos, Workday).
Minimum experience required to perform this job.
1-2 years related experience
