Payroll Manager - Positive Work Culture

Robert Half Management Resources is searching for a Payroll Senior Accountant/Manager position for a Restaurant chain in Phoenix, AZ. This position will have responsibility for In-House processing of multi-state payroll (14 states) for ~4,800 employees, along with research and special projects. An accounting degree, strong payroll experience, and software upgrade experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling and estimating insurance payments and liabilities.

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for our multistate operations.

• Ensure accurate and timely distribution of payroll to employees.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.

• Preparing weekly, quarterly, and yearly payroll taxes.

• Managing payroll assistants including monitoring promotions, transfers and terminations.
