Payroll Specialist

Summary  

This position is responsible for Compiling and recording employee time and payroll data, multi - state payroll compliance. Compute employees' time worked, production and commissions.  Compute and post wages and deductions, prepare paychecks. 

Essential Functions 

1. Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and other deductions. 
2. Poll electronic time clocks (E-time software) and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy. 
3. Contact various department supervisors for any missed times. 
4. Process weekly transfer of payroll data to payroll system. 
5. Compile internal management reports from payroll system software 
6. Process New Hire paperwork and Terminations 
7. Review, process and file all scanned paperwork 
8. Respond to audits 
9. Respond to VOE 
10. Other duties as assigned
