Position Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our North Brunswick office. This role is responsible for managing weekly payroll for our W-2 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with payroll systems, and knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for employees across multiple client sites.

• Verify timesheets, hours, and deductions.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll laws.

• Handle payroll tax filings, W-2s, and 1099s.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting on employee pay, benefits, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience.

• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance (multi-state experience a plus).

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality.
