Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process and manage bi-weekly payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.


• Maintain payroll records and reconcile payroll reports.


• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.


• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related questions.


• Prepare payroll tax filings and assist with audits as needed.


• Support the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll role.


• Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.


• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
