Our client is a landscaping company that is looking to add headcount! We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to add to the team!
LOCATION: Onsite in Alviso
TYPE: Contract-to-hire
PAY: 30-36+ an hour(depending on experience)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
This employer is looking to convert to permanent so now if you're interested!
salary: $30 - $36 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
Process payroll for certified and non-certified employees(120-150 altogether)
Process payroll taxes
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely collection of payments
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for analysis and reporting purposes
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Assist with the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations
