We're in search of a Payroll Specialist to collaborate closely with the Payroll Supervisor and Manager in processing bi-weekly payroll across all departments of our company.
Payroll Specialist Benefits:Competitive base salary ranging from $60k to $85k.Hybrid workweek option: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote for enhanced work-life balance.Comprehensive benefits package including 401k, PTO, holidays, and insurance plans.
Payroll Specialist Qualifications:3-4 years of payroll processing experiencePrevious hospitality/food service/tipped positions REQUIREDProficiency in handling non-exempt payroll with multiple jobs/rates and tips REQUIREDBachelor's degree preferred.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.Strong familiarity with Dayforce is preferred.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:Primary responsibility: auditing and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates and changes.Proactive communication of needs and collaboration with the Payroll Department to implement solutions.Thorough maintenance of Dayforce for accurate payroll processing.Data entry of manual time logs, vacation requests, and off-cycle checks as required.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws, as well as best practices.Verification and maintenance of new hire reporting to the Social Security Administration.
