Payroll Specialist - Client Accounting Services

Frankel is currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Client Accounting Services department.

Who we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing
  


• Experience with coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end payroll process
  


• Working knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements


• Enjoys client interaction and providing advisory services to implement process improvements


• Familiar with basic accounting concepts


• Experience with all versions of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)


• High attention to detail


• Proficient in Microsoft Office


• Exemplary customer service and communication skills


• Strong technical and software skills


• Desire to build and maintain client relationships


• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

What’s the job?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Processing payroll for multiple clients 


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll matters 


• Handle payroll-related inquiries and issues from clients


• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, errors, and other payroll-related problems promptly and accurately 


• Preparation and review of payroll


• Trouble-shooting and creative problem-solving


• Become a trusted resource and advisor to clients, while making process improvement recommendations
