Payroll Specialist - Professional Development Opportunities

Payroll and Billing Specialist 

This will be an onsite position, located in the Northwest Houston, TX. area. You must be able and willing to work in our office, Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm).

Responsibilities could include but not limited to:

·        Process payroll in batches when sent from multiple client locations

·        Match invoices to payroll to make sure all billable hours are being properly billed.

·        Work with accounts payable when there are billing issues

·        Help process monthly invoices as necessary

·        Investigating and resolving payroll and billing discrepancies

·        Perform other related duties as assigned by management

·        Completes verification of employment

Core Skills:

·        5 to 20 years of experience in accounting with payroll responsibilities

·        Able to work in-office, Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

·        High attention to detail

·        Excellent written and oral communications

·        Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills

·        Disciplined and self-motivated

·        Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise, and Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and Teams

Ability to multi-task effectively and to thrive in a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accountability, work ethic, communication, and a "can do" attitude is a necessity.
