Payroll/HR Clerk - Fast Hire

Job Summary:

This is primarily a full-time data entry position for the HR/Payroll Department. The payroll data entry clerk is responsible for transferring payroll information from the company’s payroll processor software into the accounting software with meticulous accuracy. This position reports directly to the HR/Payroll Supervisor and works alongside the HR/Payroll Assistant.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Type data from various ADP payroll reports into QuickBooks software

· Check completed work for accuracy

· Create weekly reports on QuickBooks to assist with weekly and monthly payroll reconciliation

· Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

· Prepare new hire packages

· Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.

· Fulfill other clerical roles as needed

Requirements and qualifications:

· General Math skills

· Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)

· Accurate Keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed

· Familiarity with QuickBooks software

· Familiarity with ADP payroll and accounting principles

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy

· Deadline-driven

· Problem-solving

· Flexibility and adaptability-

· Strong written and verbal Communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

· Familiarity with QuickBooks

· Must have 1-2 yrs. in HR/Payroll experience.
