PCA or HHA Caregiver

Avant Tech is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our growing team in providing quality in-home care to clients. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring, including helping with walking and using assistive devices.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client’s health status, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or community activities as needed.
• Document care provided and changes in the client’s condition in accordance with company policies.

• Must hold a valid PCA or HHA certification in the state where you will be providing care.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in home health care or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving.
• Ability to assist with physical demands of the position, including lifting and supporting clients.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening process.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Job Type: Part-time PRN (pro re nata)
• Pay: $14.00 per hour
