Job Description - PCBA Thru-Hole Lead

Position:               Through Hole Lead
Reports To:          Production Manager
Status:   Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Position Summary: The Through Hole Leader position will work alongside the Production Manager in optimizing and balancing workloads with the quality output to meet daily department schedule.

Responsibilities:

Ability to interpret assembly drawings and work instructions for daily work use.
Ability to program, set up, modifies, operate, and troubleshoot profiles and/or issues on all equipment in the Department.
Interface with Manufacturing Engineering to improve process and resolve issues.
Responsibility and authority to:

Identify problems.
Recommend solutions.
Withhold items that do not meet quality standards.

Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma.
Certified J-STD-001.
IPC-610 is a plus.
Ability to identify electronic components.
Experience with Wave Solder Machines, Selective Solder Machine, PCB Router Machine, Manual De-panel Machine, Benchtop Press, Solder Pots, Axial Machines – Taped & Loose Components.
Basic understanding of the International Standard.
High level of teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
