Position Overview

As the Clinical Care Coordinator, you'll lead and coordinate care for patients requiring intermediate and telemetry monitoring, including those with cardiac conditions, neurological events, and complex medical needs. Our unit specializes in managing patients requiring specialized drip medications and continuous monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient care delivery across a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Manage complex patient cases including cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and critical drip administration
• Oversee unit operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocation
• Provide clinical expertise and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with healthcare quality metrics and patient safety standards
• Facilitate smooth patient transitions through admission and discharge processes
• Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 3 years of Progressive Care/Telemetry nursing experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required
• Current BCLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
• NIHSS Stroke Certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
