PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit RN to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions requiring close monitoring. The RN will assess, treat, and support patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, ensuring safe and effective care. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• 
  

  Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall status. 

  
  

• 
  

  Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed. 

  
  

• 
  

  Respond to changes in patient conditions and intervene promptly. 

  
  

• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust care plans. 

  
  

• 
  

  Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care. 

  
  

• 
  

  Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety and quality standards. 

  
  

Qualifications:  

• 
  

  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 

  
  

• 
  

  Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WV 

  
  

• 
  

  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications 

  
  

• 
  

  COVID vaccine, TB test 

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of PCU/Step-down nursing experience
