PED, Subject Matter Expert(SME)

The PED Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide subject matter expertise for MIRC PED initiatives, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the Army's C5ISR and coordinating with PED reach sites to identify training and operational requirements. They will communicate with higher commands, report metrics, and provide program support to meet the readiness objectives of USARC, DA/G2, and FORSCOM. Additionally, the contractor will conduct analysis and testing of emerging PED capabilities, assist with configuration management for IaaS-hosted solutions, and work on refining and enhancing intelligence PED capabilities across the MIRC. 

Key Responsibilities: 

· Provide subject matter expertise for the MIRC PED initiatives as outlined by the DA/G2 Executive Order (EXORD) and MIRC Strategy. 

· Effectively describe, represent, and showcase the MIRC's PED reach capability to FORSCOM/INSCOM/DAG2/IC Community/COCOMS. 

· Equip the leaders of the MIRC to ensure they have knowledge of the MIRC's capabilities. 

· Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Army's PED Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR). 

· Coordinate with all MIRC PED reach sites to identify training and operational requirements. 

· Coordinate with the classified communications branch to identify lifecycle replacement, communications exercises, and emerging solutions. 

· Communicate with higher and adjacent commands through in-process reviews (IPR) to report training and readiness metrics of units and sites once reporting criteria is approved by the MIRC Operations Officer. 

· Produce products that may include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and word documents. 

· Provide program support to meet the USARC, DA/G2, and FORSCOM readiness objectives. 

· Conduct analysis, development, integration, and testing to identify emerging PED analytic capabilities from industry, Government, and academia. 

· Refine, enhance, and transform intelligence PED capabilities across the MIRC. 

· Ensure COTS capabilities are fully optimized within the new cloud architecture, allowing analysts to fully leverage their capabilities. 

· Assist in configuration management for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)-hosted solutions and leverage Activities Based Intelligence (ABI), Structured Object Management (SOM), and Object Based Production (OBP). 

Required: 

· Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph 

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Political Science, or related field. Military training and experience can be substituted for a degree. 

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in PED, C5ISR, or related fields. 

· Strong knowledge of PED processes and technologies. 

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

· Ability to produce high-quality documentation and presentations. 

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. 

Desired: 

· Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Political Science, or related field. 

· Experience working with Army networks and classified systems. 

· Experience with advanced PED tools and techniques. 

· Familiarity with Army-specific IA requirements and procedures. 

· Experience in All-Source, Targeting, ISR, and GEOINT. 

· Knowledge of Counter-Terror and Counter-Insurgency Operations.
