The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position implements individualized treatment plans that help children develop the skills needed for greater independence, participation, and success in daily activities while partnering with families and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
This position requires standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, sitting on the floor, lifting, and participating in movement-based therapy activities throughout the workday. The COTA works closely with pediatric clients who may have developmental, sensory, physical, behavioral, or communication challenges.
