We’re looking for a bubbly, dependable, and patient-focused Pediatric Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team at our Selma office. As a Pediatric Hygiene Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming and stress-free experience for children and parents while supporting our hygiene team throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting hygienists during pediatric patient care
• Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and excited about their visit
• Taking dental x-rays
• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Reviewing treatment plans and helping coordinate patient care
• Completing charting and updating patient records
• Supporting patient flow and scheduling needs
• Educating families on healthy oral hygiene habits in a fun and encouraging way

• 1–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus!
• CDA certification, CODA-accredited program completion, or NC radiology equivalency required
• Radiology and coronal polishing certifications required
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
• Energetic, compassionate, and patient personality
• Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy pediatric setting
