Pediatric ER Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Boston, MA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Days
Pay: $2252/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for children and adolescents in fast-paced emergency settings. The Pediatric ER RN will assess, triage, and treat patients with urgent and critical conditions while supporting families through stressful situations. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, quick-thinking, and skilled in pediatric emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, triage, and monitor pediatric patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care.
Operate and monitor emergency equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in MA
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Minimum 1 year of pediatric or emergency nursing experience
