Pediatric Home Care Nurse Needed 24/7 Case (12-Hour Shifts)

We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide dedicated in-home care for a 15-year-old female with complex medical needs, including ventilator support, G-tube, and tracheostomy care.

Location: Port Charlotte 
Schedule: 24/7 care – shifts split into 12-hour day and night shifts
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
 

• LPN: $28-30/hour
• RN: $30-33/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care including trach suctioning, ventilator monitoring, and G-tube feedings

• Monitor vital signs and overall well-being

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Work closely with the family and care team to ensure quality care

• Promote a safe, clean, and supportive home environment

Shift Details:

• Full coverage needed Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Shifts will be split between two nurses to ensure consistent, high-quality care

• Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years
• Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience including any specialty areas
• In compliance with state and Federal regulations
• CPR
• Valid AHCA/ level two background screening
• TB test showing a negative result
