BrightStar Care offers competitive salaries, benefits and recognition for your competent and compassionate care.  We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse interested in providing home care for a pediatric client in Sandy, UT with a 7-yo female with SC, quadriplegia, and trach management.  We need 2 nurses to fill shifts Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm.

We are looking for an RN or LPN who is interested in the following:

• Medication set up and oversight


• Working with verbal and other developmental skills


• General early childhood care 


• Vent and trach care


• Spinal cord injury care


• Going to school with client

  Provide thoughtful care to clients based on personalized Plan of Care

  Provide in home assessments

  Monitor and track changes in the clients conditions and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed

  Proactively updates client's family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
  
  

• Must have at least 1 year Pediatric experience 


• Must have experience with vents and trachs


• 
  
  Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Utah
  
  


• 
  
  Certified CPR and ACLS Certification
  
  


• 
  
  Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  
  


• 
  
  Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
  
  


• 
  
  Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
  
  


• 
  
  Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.   Must be able to lift 50 pounds
