The Position

Our client is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join their growing healthcare team. The provider will deliver comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, sick visits, physicals, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Active Florida APRN License
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Certification Required
  • Active DEA License or Ability to Obtain
  • BLS Certification
  • Pediatric Primary Care Experience Preferred
  • New Graduates with Relevant Pediatric Clinical Experience Encouraged to Apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients
  • Perform well-child visits, sick visits, physical examinations, and preventive screenings
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Monitor growth, development, and developmental milestones
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide immunizations and preventive healthcare services
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition, wellness, disease prevention, and healthy development
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
