Job Description - Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) | Outpatient Clinic

Title:  Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Hampton

Setting: Clinic Based  

Hours: Ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week  

**Part-time employees are required to work afternoon hours (3pm-6pm) at least 1 to 2 days per week. 

 

Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000

Prefer more stability? Our Hybrid Salary Option provides a consistent base salary for a typical 40-hour workweek, plus additional compensation for any clients you see beyond that. Whether you’re a PT, SLP, or OT, both models give you the balance of financial security and the flexibility to grow your monthly earnings — on your terms.

Responsibilities: 



  • Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to determine their physical therapy needs. 



  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. 



  • Provide age-appropriate physical therapy interventions to children and adolescents with a variety of conditions and diagnoses. 



  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development. 



  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. 



  • Educate families and caregivers on exercises and strategies to promote physical development at home. 



  • Stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy and evidence-based treatment methods. 



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. 

     



Requirements: 



  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program required. 



  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Therapy   



  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia. 



  • Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient. 



  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care. 



  • Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions. 



  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
