Icon Health Services pediatric home care program is designed to care for children who have complex medical needs.  With the help of our highly trained caregivers, children with severe illnesses can receive love and support in a nurturing home environment, rather than an institution such as a nursing home or hospital.  

Our Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) and Registered Nurses (RN) are dedicated professionals who provide the children with optimal care, medications and treatments as directed by the patient’s physician.

In-Home Pediatric Nursing Care can be (but is not limited to):
     •   Emergency medical intervention
     •   Naso-Gastric feedings (bolus and pump feedings)
     •   G-Button feedings (bolus and pump feedings)
     •   Respiratory treatments and nebulizer treatments
     •   Ventilator support
     •   Tracheotomy care and suction
     •   Dermal/skin care and wound prevention
     •   Post surgical nursing
     •   Medical and nursing teaching to family and patients
     •   Coordination and optimization of therapies (PT/OT and/or Speech therapy)
     •   Medication administration (routine and prn meds)
     •   Medical and nursing assessments and documentation to assist and optimize the
         physician’s insight, care of the patient and meet the family needs.
