Pediatric Pulmonologist

Description

Position Highlights:

• Join a growing practice to meet increasing demand and help develop satellite clinics.

• Involved in teaching medical students and residents.
   
• Respond to inpatient and outpatient consult requests.
   
• Perform bronchoscopies and conduct sweat testing to diagnose Cystic Fibrosis.
   
• Utilize advanced pulmonary diagnostics such as spirometry and whole-body plethysmography.
   
• Manage patients requiring noninvasive ventilation therapies, including CPAP and BiPAP.
   

Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage respiratory conditions such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, sleep apnea, and other pulmonary disorders.
   
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and outpatient settings.
   
• Interpret pulmonary function tests, imaging, and sleep studies.
   
• Participate in quality improvement, education, and optionally in clinical research initiatives.
   
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to diverse pediatric populations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.  
• Completion of a Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.  
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.  
• Clear/ Active license 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Commitment to teaching and mentorship.
