  • Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long -Term Permanent Search

  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency

  • Patient Demographics: Pediatric

  • Admissions: TBD

  • Rounding: Both

  • Phone Consults: 4

  • Case Mix: Inpatient and outpatient pulmonology, bronchoscopy, ICU consults

  • EMR System: Cerner

  • Office Equipment Available: Bronchoscopy

  • Support Staff: RNs: 1, MAs: 1, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 1


PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE



  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

  • Temporary Privileges Available: No


JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Board: BC required (Certified)

  • Licenses: Licensed in PA or Universal License (IMLC)

  • DEA: Required

  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS

  • Fellowship: Required


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology care

  • Perform bronchoscopy procedures

  • Provide day inpatient coverage and night call for 7 days a week

  • Handle phone consults (approx. 4 per day)

  • Manage ICU consults as needed
