Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

• Deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients in acute and emergency settings.
  
  
  


• Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and administer medications and treatments.
  
  
  


• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
  
  
  


• Provide patient and family education while offering emotional support during high-stress situations.
  
  
  


• Uphold safety standards, infection control measures, and hospital policies.
  
  
  


• Serve as a role model and resource to peers, demonstrating leadership and professionalism.
  
  
  

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – required
  
  
  


• Current RN license in DC – required
  
  
  

• 
  TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS – all required
  
  
  

• Recent pediatric acute care experience – required
  
  
  


• Minimum 1 year full-time OR 3 years part-time experience in an acute care setting – preferred
  
  
  


• Proven ability to sustain employment for at least 2 years
  
  
  

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
  
  


• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations.
  
  
  


• Commitment to patient safety, high standards of care, and teamwork.

  Pay Rate: $52–$58/hour
