Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pediatric congenital echocardiograms with precision, working closely with cardiologists to assess complex cases.
• Analyze and prepare preliminary reports, comparing prior studies to track patient progress.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for fellow sonographers and cardiology fellows.
• Maintain and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and call rotations to support 24/7 patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography program (preferred).
• Certifications:
  • BLS/ALS Certification (required).
  • One of the following credentials:
    • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) by CCI
    • RCCS (Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer) by CCI
    • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) by ARDMS
  • Note: If holding RCS or RDCS (AE), must obtain RCCS or RDCS (PE) within 18 months of hire.
