Rochester Hearing & Speech Center (RHSC) is one of the area’s most experienced and longest standing provider of hearing, speech-language, educational, clinical, and developmental services for children ages Newborn to Five with unique needs. Your work will help children develop essential communication skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential, while also providing vital support and resources to their families. Every day, you’ll play a key role in transforming lives and strengthening our community.

We are currently hiring for Full-Time (10 or 12 months/year) Speech Language Pathologist to join our incredible team! Working at Rochester Hearing and Speech Center gives you the opportunity to make a profound and lasting impact on the lives of the children and families enrolled in our programs. 

We Offer:

• Eligible for $1,000.00 sign on Bonus

• Employees have the option to work a 10-month schedule with summers off and paid leave during the 3 school break weeks.

• Continuing education (RHSC is an ASHA approved CEU provider)

• Multidisciplinary staff (SLP’s, Audiologists, OT, PT, and Special Educators)

• Mileage reimbursement (if travelling offsite)

• Flexible scheduling. 10-month full-time employees are able to work per diem during break weeks and summers if desired.

• 10-month full-time employees will have benefits coverage for the full calendar year. 

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by ASHA 
  • (strong Clinical Fellowship candidates will be considered)
  • NYS license to practice Speech-Language Pathology (or CF)
  • Certified Teacher of the Speech and Language Disabled or Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped
  • Candidates must have a reliable transportation if travelling to multiple locations
  • Physical requirements include: Standing, walking, frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching
