Position Overview:

The Pediatric Unit Pulmonologist will provide specialized pulmonary care for pediatric residents, including ventilator management where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pulmonary evaluations and recommend pediatric-appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with pediatric physician and APP on respiratory care plans.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD/DO
• Licensure: Active NYS Medical License
• Certification: Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology (required)
• Technical Skills: 
• Complex respiratory diagnostics
• Ventilator weaning protocols
• Soft Skills: Family-centered collaboration, interdisciplinary leadership
