Lone Star Circle of Care is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality health care to patients in Central Texas. -We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 403(b).
-All employees start with 3 weeks of vacation per year, which increases in increments with tenure. We also provide 3 days of personal leave, 6 days of sick leave, and 7 days of holiday leave per year
-There is also an annual stipend and 5 paid days off for continuing education.
-Reimbursement of provider's professional licensing fee and annual membership dues to their professional organization, once an established provider with LSCC.
-Opportunity to teach mental health interns and/or medical students and become an appointed faculty member at Texas A&M School of Medicine.
-Eligible for student loan repayment through external federal and state loan repayment programs

Qualifications:

You are a board-certified Pediatrician who is passionate about working with the underserved population and those who may be experiencing significant barriers to care.  You want to grow a practice where you get to decide the plan of care.

-Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality healthcare.
-Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
-Possesses cultural humility and values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
-Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
-Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including whether a patient needs a higher level of care.
-Possesses computer/technology skills to efficiently document using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
-Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred
