Location: Oakland, CA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $300,000–$310,000 per year

Role Summary:
We are hiring a Pediatrician Director who is passionate about advancing health equity and improving outcomes for children and families in underserved communities. The Director will guide pediatric providers, set department-wide priorities, and ensure that care is culturally concordant, family-centered, and responsive to the needs of the Black community.

Primary Duties:

• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing pediatric care team
• Develop and implement clinical protocols aligned with organizational goals
• Lead quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement efforts
• Collaborate with community organizations to address pediatric health disparities
• Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting and program development

• Valid California medical license; no disciplinary history
• Board-certified in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Current DEA and BLS certifications
• 7+ years of ambulatory pediatric experience with leadership responsibilities
• Experience in community-based or FQHC settings and working with the Black community
